Accessibility Statement

Our Goal
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as the standard we design and build toward. It's a goal, not a claim. The site has not yet been independently audited, so we don't describe it as fully conformant, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work.
What's Built Into the Site
Structure and navigation
- Pages use semantic HTML with landmark regions, one main heading per page and headings in a logical order.
- A "Skip to content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Menus, accordions, the language selector and the before-and-after comparison slider can be operated with a keyboard.
- Every focusable element shows a visible focus outline.
- Breadcrumbs and a full sitemap give more than one way to find a page.
Text, color and contrast
- Brand color pairings were measured for contrast. Body text is charcoal on ivory at about 13.9:1, and bronze-toned text on light backgrounds uses a deeper shade chosen to pass AA.
- Text is sized in relative units, so it scales when you zoom or change your browser's default font size.
- Touch targets are designed to be at least 44 pixels in both directions.
Motion, images and video
- If your device is set to reduce motion, scroll animations, smooth scrolling and other movement are switched off, and all content stays visible.
- Content never depends on an animation to appear. Without JavaScript, every page's text is still readable.
- Informative images have descriptive alternative text. Purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Videos on the site are silent, decorative background footage with no spoken content or information of their own, so they don't need captions or audio description.
Forms
- Every form field has a visible label, and optional fields are marked as optional.
- Errors are explained in text next to the field they relate to, not by color alone.
Known Limitations
Some parts of the experience rely on services we don't control. Google Translate, which loads only if you choose a language, injects its own markup and produces machine translations that can be inaccurate or harder to read with a screen reader. The English version of each page is the most reliable.
Contrast pairings were measured during design, but testing with a full range of screen readers and an independent audit are still to be done. Current status and any known issues: Client to confirm: accessibility testing status and known issues.
Browsers and Assistive Technology
The site is built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is intended to work with current versions of the major browsers and the screen readers, magnifiers and voice control tools that run on them. If something doesn't work with your setup, we want to know.
Report a Barrier
If you run into anything that makes this site hard to use, please tell us. It helps to include:
- The page address, or the name of the page
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead
- The browser, device and any assistive technology you were using
